To celebrate, and further extend, the strong relationship of staff within the University of Exeter and the University of Geneva, the two universities have launched a new seed fund to support developing research links. Module leaders and tutors are accessible, providing office hours and appointments in order to support your learning beyond class contact. In addition, the programme will also include activities to promote teamwork, confidence, communication and many other skills sought by employers.

The first part builds an open-economy Keynesian model to investigate what determines the effectiveness of fiscal and monetary policies, and how exchange rate regimes and capital mobility impact on policy effectiveness. The second part investigates what determines the level of macroeconomic activity and its growth over time. This intermediate level course uses live lectures to develop your analytical skills evaluating economic policy in a rigorous and technical way to equip you with the skills needed for honours level study. The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the external global context in which businesses operate. It explores the political, economic, sociocultural, technological, ethical and market influences on business. It also explores how businesses interact to the global environment through innovation, strategy, operations and marketing.

Field trips to multinational organisations within a range of sectors and industries. Past visits have included a visit to Jaguar Land Rover and Manchester United in the UK as well as visits to New York, Berlin and Paris, among others . Due to the ongoing restrictions relating to Covid-19, some facilities and some non-academic offerings , may vary from those advertised and may have reduced availability or restrictions on their use.

The contact hours may be made up of a combination of face-to-face teaching, individual and group tutorials, and online classes and tutorials. Solve problems effectively, using appropriate decision techniques, including identifying, formulating and solving business problems; create, identify and evaluate options; implement and review decisions. This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which will vary depending upon the module. Assessment methods include the Postgraduate Business Project, reports, presentations, formal examinations and practical coursework.
